The Noodles are Wellington and Wairarapa’s busiest professional cover band and have been the highlight of many corporate and private functions, weddings, balls, bars, clubs and festivals throughout New Zealand for nearly 20 years. Performing 3-4 nights a week across the Greater Wellington region and at top nightspots nationwide, their repertoire ranges from classic rock through to contemporary — from the 1960’s to today.

Nick - Guitarist - Vocals
Aka Nick Noodle - The Original Noodle
Originally from Hamilton, Nick rocked his way into the hearts of Wellington in the early 2000’s, where he created The Noodles and never looked back. Doing what he loves this whole time, he’s passionate about everything music — from sound and performance to the lighting show and a killer repertoire. Nick’s vocals and wicked guitar skills are a big part of the band’s success.
Sam - Drummer
There ain’t no drummer quite like The Noodles Drummer. Sam joined the band straight out of University where he found his beat performing with The Noodles for nearly 7 nights a week. Sam’s been on the scene for over 16 years now. This band is tight and Sam is the reason why they play and stay this way.
Frazer - Bassist - Vocals
Frazer has been with The Noodles for 16 years. An incredibly talented bass player with vocal talent just as strong, Frazer has spent much of his life performing and entertaining — gracing TV screens on ‘What Now’ and travelling the world. He’s also known as The Guitar Whisperer: an A++ precision guitar technician who has rebuilt and serviced many of the band’s instruments, which matters given the number of hours they get on stage. We are downright lucky to be blessed with his skills!
Leah - Vocals
Leah joined the Noodles 6 years ago after returning to New Zealand from a life on super yachts. These days, having welcomed kids into the mix, Leah’s role has shifted more towards lead vocals, with day-to-day band management now largely in Nick’s capable hands. Leah’s still our little bit of everything behind the scenes — singer, roadie, sound technician and more — and her background in event management means she’s always happy to help with questions or solutions for your event, be it a wedding, function or party.
